EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

August 2015 - December 2020

BACHELORS OF SCIENCE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT DALLAS

CAD Design: Created static and dynamic parts/assemblies, BOMs, and shop drawings with regards to tolerance and design specifications using SolidWorks or Parametric Creo.

Design Analysis: Analyzed stress, strain, and thermal effects on parts in SolidWorks or Parametric Creo.

Analyzed stress and deformation on various materials with extensometer or Charpy impact test.

Fluid Mechanics: Analyzed flow behavior of mechanical applications (turbines, pumps, moving bodies).

Surveyed subsonic wind tunnel turbulence measurements and calibrations on mechanical parts.

System Modelling & Analysis: Modelled and estimated parameters of dynamic control systems alongside bode and Nyquist plots using MATLAB and Simulink.

MEMs System: Examined fabrication techniques and developed micro electromechanical systems.

Object-Orientated Programming: Created search and organization programs using C, C++, and MATLAB.

Organized script data with use of functions, symbolic computations, and basic algorithms.

Data Organization: Recorded data and data entry inputs in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

MEMBERSHIPS/ ACTIVITIES

AMERICAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS

  • Prepare and present technical material three times a semester before mechanical engineering audiences

This experience developed my interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, as I learned how to communicate research and technical information to technical/non-technical audiences.

DANCING FOR A CAUSE

  • Worked together in a large team of over 30 members to practice, create, and perform dance projects in front of a large audience.

This experience developed my ability to thrive in a large team environment, as it is typically more difficult to connect, communicate, and interact with a larger group.
