Engineer in Training, Aspiring Mechanical Engineer

My Story
I am an engineer in training based in Dallas, Texas. I recently earned my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas where I gained experience as a CAD Drafter in a variety of settings. I have experience in completing solo and collaberative CAD Projects to its entirety which includes designing the parts, analyzing stress/strain, and developing a Bill of Materials.
In addition to my technical skills in engineering, I am passionate towards CAD Drafting. I am currently learning Siemens NX in order to be more well versed in a variety of CAD software.
My Career
My career in mechanical engineering is represented through my time at the University of Texas at Dallas, as an Operations Specialist at Daikin Air-Conditioning and through the certifications I've attained after graduation. I've gained experience in engineering design and principles during my time at Daikin, but I am also actively working to obtain certifications that will advance my engineering career further.
I then moved into Quality Assurance at Daikin and later at Abbott Laboratories to diversify my skillset as QA/QC is necessary in every engineering department.
I am always seeking to move in my career in order to gain new skills and develop my career. I hope my career leads me to be able to learn more practical applications in design principles. In addition, I also seek the oppurtunity to participate in the design and development process from conceptualization to production.
My Philosophy
"The first rule of teamwork is to know your position and perform it well. Be the best at what you do and give 110 percent to every task. People are relying on you, so be determined to deliver and don’t let them down."
As an engineer, I believe in the value of teamwork. Team members will both lift you up as well as keep you grounded depending on the situation. Because your teammates are relying on you, teammates provide the motivation to deliver the best performance. And for the challenging situations, team members also provide the support for the team to complete that problem.
